How Does The Teeneagle Competition Work? - Teeneagle Online English Competition

Creating a Universal Network


The Teeneagle competition requires an ONLINE registration.


Students who are selected through the relevant steps will participate in an English competition and, if selected, will move on to participate in the National Round which will then allow them to qualify for the trip to the UK.



There are three parts of the Teeneagle English Competition as follows:


– Teeneagle Online Competition

– National Round

– UK Trip & Competition



– The official correspondence and language of the Teeneagle is English


– The online examination will be multiple-choice questions


– Participants will have 50 minutes to complete these 50 questions


– Teeneagle Online may be taken online at the exam center under the supervision of educators (may also be taken at students’ homes due to pandemics). Students may take the online examination on their own electronic devices such as laptops, cell phones, tablets, etc.


There will be 50 questions in the examination made up as follows:

– 20-25 questions from the reading section (articles, stories, books, etc.)

– 20-25 questions from the listening section (video, short movies, etc.),

– 2-10 questions from general knowledge about the UK



There are two categories based on the students’ grades as follows:

– EAGLETS: Grades 5 – 8

– EAGLES: Grades 9 – 12
